Kids' Church

Kids’ Church

Kids’ Church is run during our 10:00am service and we have four groups:

  • Creche: Under 3 years old
  • Cubs (Preschool): 3 – 5 years old
  • Young Lions: Year Kindergarten – Year 2
  • Roar: Years 3 – 6

Morning tea is provided at all programs.

At St Mark’s we value our children and run a comprehensive Kids’ Church programme each Sunday of the year. At Kids’ Church children are encouraged to discover God’s word and his teachings through stories, songs, craft and drama. Our leaders are well trained and prepare new lessons and activities each week. St Mark’s encourages children to investigate their own faith and our Kids’ Church leaders, alongside parents, support this process.

Holiday Club

Our Holiday Club program usually runs in the July school holidays for students in years Kindergarten – Year 6. The club runs 9:00am – 3:00pm over three days and includes a Bible lesson, craft, games and plenty of food.

Each Monday morning during school term, Music Time meets at St Mark’s. We start with a structured music and movement session, utilising a combination of song and use of simple musical instruments. Children enjoy being with other children and learning through observation and imitation, while learning about God’s amazing world. Afterwards, we have a casual morning tea, a time of free play for children, and a chance for parents to chat.

Held in the Howard Lea Hall on Monday mornings 9:30am – 10:30am.

Term 1 begins Monday 3 February 2020.

Cost is $50 per term and $10 for each additional child.
