  • Starts: Wed 15 May 2024 1:00pm
  • Ends: Wed 15 May 2024 4:30pm
  • Location: Sydney Jewish Museum, Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

Join us for a private guided tour of the Sydney Jewish Museum. We will be split into small tour groups and each group will have the opportunity to meet and talk to a holocaust survivor.

The Sydney Jewish Museum tells the story of Jewish cultural life and heritage in Sydney from the earliest Jews to arrive in Australia. It gives voice also to victims of the holocaust with memorabilia from the holocaust as well as Judaica and Australian Jewish history generally. As well as its intriguing permanent exhibition there is a programme of regularly changing feature exhibitions.

Time and transport method: Two options are available:

  • Book your seat on our bus. Please meet at 1pm sharp as the bus will depart no later than 1:15pm. Meet at bus Stand M at Edgecliff Station (the stand closest to the Coles supermarket end of the complex). You can use the lift to reach it). Bus places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. The bus will return you to the same location at the end of the tour.
  • Make your own way there and meet inside the museum by 1:40pm sharp. We have reserved some free parking spaces nearby so please email fosm@stmarksdp.org if you wish to be considered for these spaces.
