The St Mark’s Choir is delighted to be reviving Choral Evensong services.
We encourage anyone who values the services contained in the 1662 Book of Common Prayer to attend these Choral Evensong (Evening Prayer) services.
Sunday 23 June 2024, 3:00pm-4:10pm. The service will include choral music by three great English composers: Psalm 84 sung to a chant by Sir Hubert Parry, Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis to a serving by Thomas Attwood Walmisley and Evening Hymn by Henry Balfour Gardiner. Reverend Dr Michael Jensen will preach on the day.
Sunday 27 October 2024, 3:00pm-4:10pm This service music will feature special music and hymns to celebrate All Saints Day.
