Serve
Serving one another is one way we can grow together as the people of God. We prayerfully desire to be a church that is known for our Christ-like love, expressed in joyful service. God’s Spirit is given to us to empower us to serve one another; and he gives to all of us spiritual gifts for this purpose.
We suggest you look at the Serve brochure and consider the variety of ways you could serve at St Mark’s. We have prepared this booklet as a practical way to help you consider how you might serve at our church. Please prayerfully read and consider this booklet before completing the Serve survey below. Serving doesn’t mean doing something that you can’t do, or something you really don’t want to do. We are each called to serve, according to our gifts and individual opportunities, as a joyful response to God’s grace to us in Jesus.
Finally, we encourage you to complete the Serve survey. Completing the survey will let us know how you might want to serve and will help us to plan as a church family how we can all grow together by serving one another. We want to think carefully about your desires and gifts, so it may take some time for us to get back to you. But we will. The ministry team will also do our utmost to train and support you.

We can serve one another in many, many ways – you’d be surprised how God can use even a simple phone call or a few kind words! It’s less about jobs or roles – though it will involve that for some – and more about having Christ’s love for his people and his desire that they would grow. How could you serve?
