St Mark’s has a long tradition and commitment to sharing fine choral and organ music with both our regular congregation and wider community. St Mark’s Music (an activity of the St Mark’s Darling Point Cultural Trust) has been founded with the vision of growing this ministry which is so much a part of who we are.

Overview

St Mark’s Music aims to further our cultural and creative arts activities in the wider community by promoting forms of creative arts in a Christian context. Donations are tax deductible.

The Organ

Our Létourneau organ accompanies the 8am service each Sunday. Other opportunities to hear organ music include the annual Organ Recital and occasional Evensong services.

Support St Mark’s Music

You can support St Mark’s Music by making a tax-deductible donation to the St Mark’s Darling Point Cultural Trust. Your donation will support our wonderful Choral Music ministry.

St Mark's Choir

The Choir leads a variety of hymns at the 8am service, sings at funerals and weddings as requested, and presents an annual concert and annual Festival of Lessons and Carols.

Choral Scholarships

Scholarships are available to musicians aged 16–24 years. Applicants need a strong voice, excellent sight-reading skills and studying music with a view to making music their career.

Music Events

St Mark’s offers a range of special musical events throughout the year. You can also enjoy beautiful music each week during one of our regular Sunday services.
