Rev Dr Michael Jensen

Michael has been rector of St Mark's since 2013. Before that, he taught theology at Sydney's Moore College. Michael likes to imagine himself one day getting fit, and loves British comedy and Eastern European food (cevapi, anyone?). Michael has written a number of books including Is Forgiveness Really Free? and My God, My God – Is it possible to believe anymore? He is married to Catherine and has four children, a cocker spaniel and a domestic medium hair cat.

Rev Paul Chew

Before moving back to Sydney, Paul served for seven years in Hobart at St George's Battery Point. Paul likes English literature, German industrial music, Danish philosophy, Columbian coffee, Portuguese tarts and following a Galilean carpenter. He is married to Jo and they have two not-so-young kids.

Rev David Crain

David retired from full-time paid ministry in 2006. After working in Newcastle and Bendigo parishes he had been Rector of Yagoona, Leichhardt and Austinmeer. He has been part-time at St Mark's since September 2012 and recently celebrated 50 years as a minister. David and Pam have two adult children and two granddaughters. The main un-christian characteristics to which he will admit is wishing misfortune in business to Rupert Murdoch, whose Fox Channel launched Super League, which resulted in the removal of North Sydney Bears from the NRL.

Emily Murray

Emily has flaming red hair and an equally flaming passion for chemistry, cricket, bush-walking and Matt (her husband). Although not in that order. As a teenager she was captivated by the wonder and glory of God seen in creation leading her to investigate more about Him each day. Emily loves teaching kids about Jesus and their place in God's plan.

Gavin Cooper

Before joining the St. Mark's team, Gavin worked as an IT Consultant for over 10 years. Having developed a passion for ministry through volunteer youth leading, he started studying theology and youth ministry at Youthworks Anglican College, before transferring to a BTh at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Gavin has a passion for the discipleship of children, youth, and young adults. In his down time he enjoys music, photography, cooking, sunrises, outdoor adventures and double espressos.

Kate Lieschke

Having grown up in Wagga Wagga Kate loves seeing God in His beautiful creation. Kate is new to Sydney having moved to study at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. When not studying, she enjoys going on long walks in nature, listening to and playing music and all things blue. Kate loves seeing Christian communities thrive as they deepen in their love and understanding of the Risen Lord Jesus.

Antony Weiss

Antony came to St. Mark's having served as Student Minister at Christ Church St. Laurence. He is a full-time student at Moore College and is a candidate for Ordination in the Diocese of Sydney. Prior to his theological studies he was a Master at Shore having taught predominately French whilst holding a variety of positions including Senior Boarding Housemaster and Head of Languages. Currently on leave from Shore, Antony is looking to return there as a Chaplain or serving in a Sydney parish. Antony has a heart for the bush and remote Indigenous communities having covered tens of thousands of kilometres though much of Australia's outback in his ever trusty LandCruiser. His other passions include choral music, the works of JS Bach and Beethoven and orthodox Cranmerian Anglicanism as a firm platform for catholic and reformed Gospel teaching and outreach.
