St Mark’s Conference: Love in Action

At the centre of the Christian life is loving like Christ. Just as Christ laid down his life for us, so we are called to humble sacrifice for the sake of others. Loving like this is demanding. But God shows us how and we are in this together.

Love in Action conference will help us to see God’s love for us in Christ, teach us to step out of ourselves to love others in ordinary and radical ways, and inspire us to make a real difference to our church, our city, and the world. We’ll also hear testimonies, discuss and pray together, share some good food, and there will be plenty for kids too.

Speaker: Reverend Dr Rowan Kemp is a senior staff worker at the Evangelical Union of Sydney University. He will deliver 2 talks on the day of the conference and will also speak across the Sunday services on 20 October 2024.
